A beautiful new top quality hand printed Cotton Wrap Art Skirt featuring The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory by Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali.
Dalí employed extensive symbolism in his work. For instance, the hallmark soft watches that first appear in The Persistence of Memory suggest Einstein's theory that time is relative and not fixed. The idea for clocks functioning symbolically in this way came to Dalí when he was staring at a runny piece of Camembert cheese during a hot day in August.
Our art skirts are hand printed in small quantities using high quality non-toxic "watercolor technique" dyes on a wax press. We recommend hand wash or machine wash gentle to preserve the colors.
This beautiful new Dali Wrap Skirt is Freesize (One Size).
Unfolded it measures about ~44" at the waist and ~52" at the hips. Total length is about ~35" long. (1" = 2.54cm)
